Parallel 2026: The Brass Age is a short film series exploring a world shaped by a different technological path.
In this parallel reality, information no longer exists in an invisible cloud.
Instead, it flows through tangible systems—
copper pipes, vacuum tubes, gears, and steam—
seen, touched, and physically felt.
Each episode is built around an act of forgetting:
forgetting the cloud, forgetting gravity, forgetting the algorithm.
These gestures are not rejections of technology,
but invitations to return to a time when technology was still visible—
when it had weight, texture, and rhythm.
Rather than predicting the future, this series offers a shift in perspective.
If technology were once again physical and present,
how might our relationship with it change?
Parallel 2026: The Brass Age imagines an alternative modernity—
and poses a quiet question about the digital world we inhabit today.
